The results of the first Murdoch Pines Golf Cup

Preview

The Murdoch Pines Cup which is sponsored by Murdoch Pines Golf and Recreation Park was held at Araluen Golf Club on 16 November 2014.

We had a strong turn out of over 40 players.

Guests included Andrew Vlahov and members of the Chinese Consulate of Australia.
Chinese Consul General Dr Huang Qingguo and his wife also attended as guests to see how the competition was progressing.

The day went well for the players as the weather was good. However tough conditions on the course meant only the good and consistent players won.

There were several new members that joined.
The new members are:
May Han
Dong Hong Gao
Angie Yang
SongVit Lee

We welcome them to the association.

The Association gets a website

Dear readers

I have been working hard on creating a website for the association. After several weeks, the website has gone live. I am pleased as it has English and Mandarin versions. I had to get the Mandarin translation through a translator in China to save cost.

Please visit www.auschinesegolf.com.au

Enjoy.

Celebration dinner after our first year of incorporation

Dear readers

To celebrate our first year of incorporation, the board decided that there was enough funds in the kitty to buy dinner for the members and their spouses.

I was tasked with organising the dinner at Hawkers Cuisine. From the numbers at 23 , we ended up with over 30 guests. It was a good evening It was great to see the members enjoying themselves and discussing the future for the association.

Our association has 31 registered members and is growing.
